Achieving Solutions is an award winning provider of quality Nursing and Disability home care services to people in the Newcastle, Maitland and Hunter communities. We are run by Gina Wilks (Clinical Nurse Consultant), who supports and mentors our team of experienced Assistants in Nursing (AINs), Support Workers (SW) and cleaners. Our staff are carefully selected; they are chosen for their compassion and experience.

Achieving Solutions can provide most kinds of support you require. We pride ourselves on our individualised approach. Services we have assisted in the past include:
– Personal Care (lifter, PEG, tracheostomy, SPCs, colostomy, cough assist machines, BIPAP, etc)
– Capacity Building (mentoring, life training including learning social and practical life skills including learning to catch public transport, budgeting, adult skills)
– Meal preparation including once a month cooking
– Shopping
– Companionship
– Housework

Our team are able to offer care to babies, children, teenagers, young adults (and adults who are young at heart)!

We know that a ‘one size fits all’ approach would restrict independence, which is why we personalise our service to achieve the best possible outcomes for people and those that are close to them. We work with other providers to make sure that you are at the centre of all aspects of your life.

At Achieving Solutions we are specialists in providing complex clinical care which means our clients can be cared for in their own homes by our experienced nursing & care teams.

Established in 2015 by Clinical Nurse Consultant, Gina Wilks, our aim is to provide the best care to our clients. We achieve this by recruiting and training nurses and care staff who share our passion for being the best at what we do.

Our highly skilled Registered Nurses are trained to the highest standards to provide tailored care plans & support for people with complex illnesses.  Every client has unique requirements and no two care plans are the same.

Everyone’s care situation is different – some of our clients have just come out of hospital while others have developed a complex health condition and are no longer able to live at home without support.

OUR TEAM

At Achieving Solutions, we enable our clients to live independently with their desired lifestyles.  Our team has extensive experience in working with clients who have a wide range of healthcare needs.  Our specialist complex care approach is straightforward, enthusiastic and reliable, and we seek to invest in building strong relationships with our clients & their families and developing trust between both our team & our clients.

We are passionate about the very positive impact that our care has on our clients. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a person living back at home with their family & making progress with their condition.  Especially when we have played a big part.  This is why our team comes to work every day and we want to provide our services to as many people as we can. You will see that our team is committed, enthusiastic and compassionate to providing specialist complex care.
